I already posted about Delilah’s first flight last week and now I finally have enough time to write about the actual trip!
We went to Houston to visit my brother and celebrate his 26th birthday. My mom flew in from Fort Lauderdale and we met her there. Unfortunately, Liam was not able to come because it was going too expensive to pay him a plane ticket especially since the trip was very last minute and I was transitioning jobs. Delilah flies for free so bringing her was a little simpler. We have vowed to take Liam somewhere by plane very soon to make it up to him though!
While in Houston we went to the Children’s Museum of Houston. I was a little surprised that over a year old they charge an entrance fee for kids, I thought that was a little lame. But we found a living social deal online which saved us half off the admission price so it worked out in our favor. The Children’s Museum was ah-mazing! An absolute delight. I would go back to Houston just to take Delilah here again when she’s older, it was that awesome. There was a lot of cool things, it was educational but also silly and they had a great play area for the younger kids. My 26 year old brother really loved the stuff geared towards older kids (like 8-10 year old lol).
